Autocon accomplished a number of firsts during the 2006 American Le Mans Series, including its first P1 class podium at Mid-Ohio (2nd place), and then at Lime Rock (3rd place). At Lime Rock, Autocon also led the overall race for the first time in team history. In the team championship, Autocon finished third, while driver Michael Lewis was 7th in driver points, and driver Chris McMurry was named one of the four finalists for The Founder's Cup which honors the top gentleman drivers in the American Le Mans Series.
